recently i've had some troubles with my computer (actually, nearly everything mechanical in my possession is trying to off itself lately) so i bought a new one --which i

buuuuuut its vista >.< . the idea was that i would back up all the information i wanted to keep onto the new computer, then i would reset the old computer (because it had tons of crap on it from my ex still, not to mention viruses). so that all went exactly as planned. except for the fact that i failed to back up any of my drawings that i had scanned. or any of the ones that i colored on the computer. it's not a major loss i guess. but its annoying. now i have to go through all my folders and sketchbooks and unsorted piles of paper to scan them all back into the computer. the important things were backed up of course, such as all the data to do with the RPG, my art programs, etc. as it turns out though, vista is a dick and is not compatible with the program i use for the RPG, NOR is it compatible with my SCANNER. so my old computer (the one that's hooked to the internet, that i'm sitting at right now) has pretty much just that: access to the internet and is compatible with my scanner and RPG program (neither of which are on it right now). haven't got any art programs on it yet either. they are all on the NEW computer.... which doesn't have any art on it...... cuz i fail. lol. worse yet, i managed to kill >ALL< my external memory devices somehow. so in short, right now if i wanted to draw/color something i need to: 1) hook up scanner to OLD computer, then scan image. 2)BURN image to cd 3)LOAD image to NEW computer (via cd) 4)color 5) BURN colored image to cd 6) LOAD colored image to OLD computer and finally 7) SUBMIT to dA (lol #7 sounds kinda kinky). I suppose i could save myself a few steps by getting my art programs back on the old computer... as well as my RPG program. i'm HOPING that with the release of the new OS windows 7 that all issues with compatibility will be resolved on the new computer.... if not i am most truly screwed....
i've fallen in love with pens --unofficially-- i'm going to select several pieces of old work that i've got laying around to consequently ink and mayhaps color as well. if there are any in particular that you guys would like to see "complete" let me know and i will be more than happy to. since i've actually started drawing again i've also decided to do the things i once promised long ago i would. been quite confident in my own abilities as of late.
maybe in the near future i will show you guys what i've been up to... <3
in other news, i haven't really been feeling so hot lately. been REALLY sick for an entire week now. i actually JUST woke up. any of you who know me in person know that that's peculiar for me since i'm usually up with the sun-rise. and the only reason i got out of bed was because my daughter demanded i do so. i thought i was doing well enough to work but left a couple hours early yesterday and made dinner. turns out i couldnt eat much of it.... which is probably a good thing considering i ended up tossing it all back up again several hours later. i hope i can take that as a sign that i'm recovering...
....i don't wanna die. too many things left undone and unspoken...... lol i'm just tired of being sick. not used to it. never been so sick in my entire life. *sigh* i'll be alright though ^^
umm... what else.....
nope that's it for now. it may be a little while before i find the energy to submit a new deviation.
much

guys. live well

There is no such thing as good luck. There is only misfortune and its occasional absence.
You do very good, I hope to see more of it soon! I shall add you.
